Round cell or consumer batteries
These batteries are known as round cells, consumer batteries, or non-rechargeable. The "Big Five" include the sizes, AAA, AA C, D, 9 Volt, 6Volt lantern battery, N size, J size, and 4.5 Volt Wonder Battery.
Primary cells
Powercell carry Ultra Alkaline and Extra Heavy Duty (EHD) batteries. Voltage of all the primary cells is 1.5 volt per cell.
Packaging
The Extra Heavy Duty and Alkaline batteries are available loose or on cards, in box quantities only. The card packs are slightly dearer per cell.
Extra Heavy Duty Batteries
EHD batteries are designed for use in low-drain applications like TV remote controls, wall clocks, low use torches and any application that requires low power usage devices. Very cost effective for low drain applications.
