Product Quality
All connecting leads are of heavy duty construction. They will withstand a reasonable amount of arcing and are almost student proof. The leads have a PVC "moulded" cover for safe finger grip. They are of slim lined design to avoid overcrowding of circuit boards. All leads come with moulded plugs.
Our connectors and leads are sourced from one of the most experienced German manufacturers of single-pole connections. The company has been designing and manufacturing Bundle Contact plugs, spring-loaded plugs and sockets (back and side stacking) since 1950. Their policy is for constant development and optimising their products.
The manufacturing possibilities are endless. We are able to produce special custom-designed plugs, sockets and leads from quantities as low as 100 units to 100,000 or more.
All connecting leads are soldered, lead free and meet strict Quality Assurance criteria.
The contact resistance of connections is approximately 0.3m Ohms.
All products are made in Germany.

PHYWE Australia was established in 1984 and has been supplying connecting leads, sockets and accessories to all major TAFE colleges and universities throughout Australia and New Zealand since then.
